Give By Employee Matching Platforms, Programs or Discretionary Grants

You are welcomed and encouraged to inquire with your employer whether or not they offer company matches for employee donations. Many companies and organizations have short internal applications that you can submit asking that the company match your donation to an organization. For some, this can include donating a financial match for time that you have volunteered with an organization. You can also opt to donate to ScholarCHIPS through platforms such a Benevity and Fidelity Giving Marketplace and request a match by your employer. In addition, many companies, foundations and organizations allow employees to apply for small discretionary grants and/or nominate an organization for one of their in-house grants. These are excellent ways to double your impact and get your employer involved in your philanthropic giving efforts!

Give via Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) or United Way NCA.

ScholarCHIPS is listed on The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) charitable list. So if you are a government, federal, agency or military employee, you can designate donations to ScholarCHIPS. The organization’s CFC Number is #81760. ScholarCHIPS is also a nonprofit community partner of United Way of the National Capital Area. You can find ScholarCHIPS on United Way with number #9738.
